Celebrate 2004 Flash 5 Website: this site was implemented in
what I jokingly call "object-oriented Flash." To call Flash
scripting a "language" is an insult to professional language
developers but with enough coercion, you can actually make it behave as if
you have objects by wrapping movies with the appropriate code.
Alliance Women Website: The first version of this was implemented
in ASP with SQL server as a backend and custom COM objects providing the
middleware business logic in support of an author/editor publishing model.
Our move to Colorado eliminated the private hosting option which in turn
eliminated all of my backend infrastructure so the site had to be turned
into a traditional "brochureware" site.
Master's
thesis. It's on the configuration problem specifically focused on
computer configurations (the very first commercial application of Artificial
Intelligence!). In it, I propose something I call a Configuration Machine
which guarantees a consistent configuration at every state and has O(C)
performance (though size complexity is an issue).
From various CS classes for my Master's degree:
From CS 582, Artificial Intelligence: is Lizzy
which is inspired by ELIZA.
Also from CS 582 is the Soccer
simulation.
From CS 584 (Computer Vision) several project results are here.
CS 316: Co-taught "Concepts of
Programming Languages" with Dr. Terry Boult who graciously made room in
his class to help mentor me in this area. I scored above average in almost
all categories in my student evaluations!
Current Projects
I'm almost finished with something cool called "Stegi@home"
which is a research project I'm working on for Dr. Tim Chamillard and Dr.
Terry Boult as part of an STTR grant.
I'm working on a paper for BIOT-05 involving
automatic segmentation and vessel extraction of retinal angiography images
(from the DRIVE database).
Extreme Makeover,
a project in the style of ABC's Extreme Makeover: Home Edition. We're (North
Springs Alliance Church) completely remodeling a cottage in two weekends!
